About Me
My journey as a Software Engineer began way back when I was in 4th grade. I picked up my mom's C++ for Dummies book and made a few text adventure games for my friends to play. From there I began to love the problem-solving and design aspect of Computer Science. Since then, I have earned my certification through a Full-Stack Development boot camp through Denver University and I am working towards my BS in Computer Science through Colorado Technical University.
Currently, I am working as an MSCC Agent for KNAPP Inc. in their Multi-Site Control Center department. In this role, I have been able to gain experience in QA testing, DevOps, and Commissioning while working closely with Logistic Operations Engineers to support the launch of new warehouse automation systems. I have also had the opportunity to design and build a Python/PyQt5 desktop tool to help automate recurring database queries for LOEs, improving response efficiency and streamlining reporting tasks.
When I'm not on my computer, I am typically either playing games, walking my corgi Einstein, or rock climbing with my wife Bri. During my free time, I also love to explore philosophy, I was lucky to be able to take (and re-take multiple times) a philosophy class for my elective in high school. Ever since then, exploring other people's ideas and understanding the world from a variety of perspectives has been a fun way to grow my emotional intelligence and help satiate my need to continuously learn. My favorite thing about philosophy is that even when re-reading an essay or book, I always pick up something new!
